WaxFolder is a personal document vault that helps you store, organise, and get reminders about important documents — bills, warranties, insurance policies, prescriptions, and more. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We use your information to:
We do not sell your personal information or your documents to third parties.
Documents are stored using encrypted cloud storage, and access is isolated per user account. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
Your documents are private to your account by default. If you choose to use shared links or household sharing, the people you explicitly invite will be able to access what you share. We may use trusted third-party services (such as cloud storage, email delivery, and AI processing providers) solely to operate WaxFolder on your behalf.
To measure our advertising, the mobile app sends the app events above to Google (Google Analytics for Firebase, Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook). They never receive your documents, anything extracted from them, your phone number or your email. On iPhone, the app does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Settings → Google → Ads.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know through the app or by email.
